About the Testarossa Testarossa
The Testarossa name means "red head," referring to the cam covers painted rosso corsa. The flat-12 sat longitudinally behind the cabin, fed through those massive side intakes that defined the car's silhouette. 390 hp, rear-drive, five-speed manual. It wasn't sharp like a 328 or aggressive like an F40. It was a continent-crossing GT that happened to have a racing engine. Pininfarina's design was polarizing in 1984 and untouchable by 1990.
