About the BMW 2002 2.0 tii (130 Hp) RWD
The tii — touring international injected — added Kugelfischer mechanical fuel injection and lifted power to 130 hp. The compression ratio went up, the torque curve filled out, and the 2002 gained a sharpness that the carbureted car hinted at but couldn't quite deliver. The tii was the 2002 for the driver who wanted everything the car could give. Wider tires, uprated springs, and that fuel injection system that sounded like a sewing machine at idle but delivered perfectly metered fuel at full throttle.
