About the M3 G80

The sixth M3 kept the manual and added all-wheel drive. Revealed in September 2020 and on sale from March 2021, it runs the S58 3.0-litre twin-turbo six in two states. The base car makes 480 PS (473 hp in the US) with rear drive and a six-speed manual. The Competition makes 510 PS (503 hp) with an eight-speed automatic and reaches 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. M xDrive arrived for the Competition in summer 2021, and from July 2024 the Competition M xDrive makes 530 PS. Top speed is limited to 250 km/h; in the US the M Driver's Package lifts it to 180 mph. A manual M3 is still listed for 2025-on cars.
