About the F-150 10th Gen
The tenth-gen F-150 was Ford's first clean-sheet truck redesign since the early '90s, and they went big. Literally. The SuperCrew cab turned the F-150 into a family vehicle that could also tow 8,900 pounds. The 4.6 and 5.4 Triton V8s were the engine options, neither remarkable but both proven. What mattered was the interior. Ford put real thought into where your coffee sat, where your phone went, how the seats folded. The ride was softer, the cabin quieter, and the frame stiffer than the ninth gen by a significant margin. This was the generation that made contractors and suburban dads buy the same truck for completely different reasons. Ford cracked the code on dual-purpose trucks here.
