About the F-150 13th Gen
The 13th Gen F-150 was the truck that bet on aluminum and won. Ford dropped 700 pounds by switching from steel to a military-grade aluminum alloy body, and paired it with the second-generation EcoBoost V6 that made more torque than the old V8. Truck buyers are conservative. Ford convinced them anyway — through towing numbers, payload capacity, and fuel economy that the competition couldn't match. The Raptor got a twin-turbo V6 instead of a V8, and it was better for it. This generation changed what a full-size truck could be.
