About the Civic EK
The EK is where Honda stopped hinting and started making declarations. The EK9 Civic Type R — 160hp from a 1.6-liter B16B, naturally aspirated, redline at 8,400rpm. Championship White with a red badge. Nothing wasted. But the EK wasn't just the Type R. This generation became the backbone of the entire Honda tuning scene.
