RANGE ROVER L460
About the Range Rover L460
The L460 arrived as the most luxurious Range Rover ever made — and the most technologically ambitious. The twin-turbo V8 from BMW makes 530 hp. The plug-in hybrid promises 100 km of electric range. The cabin has a 13.1-inch curved touchscreen and can be optioned with ceramic controls and refrigerated compartments. But underneath the luxury, the MLA-Flex platform carries air suspension, all-wheel steering, and a wading depth of 900mm. Land Rover insists this is still an off-roader. The customer base insists it's a rolling penthouse. Both are right. The L460 is available in standard and long-wheelbase, with four, five, or seven seats. Whether a car this expensive should ever see mud is a philosophical question Land Rover has been dodging since 1970.
