About the MX-5 Miata 2.0 (170 Hp) RWD
The NC grew in every dimension and gained the 2.0-liter MZR engine with 170 hp. More power than any previous Miata, but also more weight — the NC crossed the 1,100 kg barrier and felt it. The power-retractable hardtop was a clever party trick that made year-round ownership practical. The six-speed was excellent. The chassis was capable. But the NC lacked the rawness that made the NA and NB feel special.
