G-CLASS W463A (NEW)
About the G-Class W463A (New)
The 2018 redesign kept the silhouette that made the G-Class recognizable from a mile away and rebuilt everything behind it. Independent front suspension replaced the solid axle. The interior went from outdated to S-Class adjacent. The body was wider, the cabin was larger, and the ride quality went from punishing to comfortable — without losing the three locking differentials. The G500 with the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 makes 422 hp and handles with a composure the old car couldn't imagine. The G63 AMG pushes 585 hp and hits 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds — in a vehicle that still looks like it was designed by a military contractor with a geometry set. The new G-Class is objectively better in every way. Whether it lost something in the translation from agricultural tool to luxury fashion statement depends on whether you ever drove the original off a mountain.
