About the MR2 2.0 (165 Hp) RWD
The naturally aspirated W20 is the one the handling purists quietly prefer. The 3S-GE made 165 hp with a linear power delivery and none of the turbo car's lift-off oversteer tendencies. Lighter than the Turbo by nearly 100 kg, with the same mid-engine chassis and double-wishbone suspension all around. The NA W20 did everything the turbo did below 5,000 RPM but with more predictability and better balance. Less exciting on paper. More rewarding on a mountain road.
