About the Quattro 2.1 Turbo (200 Hp) AWD
The original Ur-Quattro engine — the WR code 2.1-liter turbocharged inline-five with 200 hp and enough turbo lag to read a newspaper between pressing the throttle and receiving boost. The five-cylinder warble at full chat was unlike anything else on the road. Permanent all-wheel drive through a center differential meant all that power reached the ground, not the atmosphere.
