This is the unhinged one. GM took the supercharged LT4 from the CT5-V Blackwing and dropped it into a three-ton luxury SUV. 682 hp. 885 Nm. 0-100 in 4.4 seconds. In a vehicle that weighs 2,850 kg and has a 36-speaker AKG sound system. The Escalade-V doesn't make sense on paper, and it doesn't have to. It exists because GM's engineers asked "what if?" and nobody in the room said no. It's louder than the standard Escalade, stiffer, and completely unapologetic about being a performance SUV that costs six figures. The exhaust note at full throttle sounds like the building is collapsing. On purpose.
