About the Camaro 5th Gen
The 5th Gen Camaro came back from a seven-year hiatus and came back angry. GM used the Zeta platform shared with the Holden Commodore, dropped an LS3 V8 in the SS, and wrapped it in retro-modern styling that screamed 1969 without trying to copy it. Heavy at 1,700+ kg, but the torque didn't care. Magnetic ride control turned the big coupe into something that could corner. The ZL1 with the supercharged LSA made 580 hp. Chevrolet proved the Camaro still had a reason to exist. Then they had to prove it again with the 6th Gen.
