The 308 is the Ferrari that made Ferrari accessible — relatively speaking. It put a mid-mounted V8 in a Pininfarina body that defined what a supercar looked like for an entire generation, and it sold in numbers that would have made Enzo wince. Magnum P.I. drove one. The later GTBi and GTSi versions added Bosch injection and lost some power in the process — a compromise for emissions that enthusiasts have never forgiven. The Quattrovalvole restored the power with four-valve heads and 240 hp, closing out the 308 era with the best-driving version of the car.
