About the Fiesta Mk4

Ford split the Fiesta in two for the Mk4, selling the new model alongside the old Mk3 in some markets because demand for the older car refused to die. The 1995 redesign brought a rounder, more modern look courtesy of Ford New Edge design language, plus significantly improved crash safety. The Zetec engines were a highlight — willing to rev and notably smoother than the outgoing CVH units. Not the most exciting Fiesta generation, but a necessary bridge between the rawness of the Mk3 and the brilliance that came later.
