About the Mustang Fox Body
The Fox Body Mustang ran from 1979 to 1993 — the longest production span of any Mustang generation. It started as a bloated, emissions-choked embarrassment and ended as a lightweight V8 bruiser that drag strips still worship. The secret was the platform: simple, light, and endlessly modifiable. The 5.0 HO engine became synonymous with American straight-line speed. Fox Bodies were cheap, fast, and everywhere. They weren't pretty. They were effective.
