About the CR-V RM

The RM generation CR-V arrived in 2011 and immediately felt more car-like than any CR-V before it. Honda lowered the floor, widened the track, and gave it a 2.4 i-VTEC four that paired with a smooth five-speed automatic. The interior was clean and functional with a lower cargo floor than the competition. What set the RM apart was the driving experience — lighter steering, better body control, and a willingness to change direction that compact SUVs rarely offer. Honda remembered that CR-V originally stood for Comfortable Runabout Vehicle.
