About the HR-V 3rd Gen

Honda rethought the HR-V entirely for the third generation. The 2021 redesign dropped the quirky Magic Seat party trick and focused instead on refinement — a cleaner design, a more upscale cabin, and a 1.5 turbo or hybrid powertrain depending on market. The result is a subcompact crossover that drives more like a Civic than a compromised tall hatchback. Interior space per exterior footprint remains class-leading thanks to Hondas packaging obsession. Less gimmick, more substance. The grown-up HR-V.
