About the HR-V
The HR-V is Honda's entry-level crossover — the car that replaced the Fit in the lineup and the CR-V in the driveways of people who don't need three rows. The first generation launched in 1998 as a quirky small SUV, disappeared, and returned in 2015 as a subcompact crossover built on the Fit platform. It inherited the Magic Seat versatility, the small-car efficiency, and enough ground clearance to feel like an SUV without driving like one. The second-generation HR-V, launched in 2021, switched to the Civic platform and grew in every dimension. It lost some of the Fit-based quirky charm but gained a more refined ride and an interior that felt like it belonged one class up. The 2.0L naturally aspirated engine wasn't going to win any drag races, but Honda's never been about straight-line speed in this segment. On Revnut, the HR-V ranks among the crossovers that prioritize packaging and daily usability over horsepower figures.
