About the Integra Type R DC2

The B18C in JDM spec made 197 hp at 8,000 rpm from 1.8 naturally aspirated liters. Honda hand-polished the intake ports, matched the injectors, and balanced the rotating assembly. The DC2 Type R weighed 1,080 kg, had a helical limited-slip differential, and came with Recaro seats and red carpet. No power steering on early JDM cars because Honda decided the weight savings and steering feel were worth the parking lot workout. The DC2 set a 1:04 lap at Tsukuba Circuit — faster than an R33 GT-R.
