Hand-polished ports. 197 hp at 8,000 rpm. 1,080 kg. Front-wheel drive. The DC2 Type R was Honda's answer to everyone who said FWD couldn't be a serious performance platform. The helical LSD put power down without torque steer, the close-ratio five-speed was telepathic, and the car could hang with Porsches on a circuit while running 91 octane. The greatest front-wheel-drive car ever built. Not debatable.
