NSX NA2
About the NSX NA2
The NA2 was Honda's refinement of a car that already felt complete. The 3.0 VTEC V6 grew to 3.2 liters with 290 hp and gained a six-speed manual gearbox. Fixed headlights replaced the pop-ups — emissions regulations claimed another design detail — and the front end gained a more aggressive look. The extra displacement filled out the midrange torque curve without sacrificing the screaming top end. The six-speed gearbox was tighter and more precise than the five-speed it replaced. Suspension geometry was revised for sharper turn-in. The NA2 was the NSX that Honda's engineers built after nine years of learning what the car could do. By 2005, the NA2 was ancient by supercar standards — no traction control to speak of, no launch control, no turbocharger. It was also still one of the best-handling mid-engine cars money could buy. Honda ended production after 15 years, and the values started climbing the moment the last one rolled off the line.
