Albert Biermann's team developed it at the Nurburgring — 280 horsepower, a six-speed manual, and the kind of chassis tuning that made journalists rewrite their Hyundai assumptions mid-corner. The N Corner Carving Differential isn't just a marketing name; it's a mechanical LSD that actually works. The PD generation launched the N sub-brand. Before it, Hyundai performance was a contradiction. After it, Hyundai had a seat at the hot hatch table — and the Golf GTI had to move over.
