The Seltos occupies the space between the Rio and the Sportage — a subcompact crossover aimed at buyers who want SUV proportions without SUV payments. Launched in 2019, the Seltos arrived into a segment that barely existed five years earlier and immediately felt at home. The turbocharged 1.6L option produced 175 hp — more than enough to make the Seltos feel genuinely quick for its size.
