About the Miura P400
There's only one Miura generation because the Miura only needed one. From the P400's debut at Geneva in 1966 to the final SV rolling out of Sant'Agata in 1973, Lamborghini refined but never redesigned. The transverse 3.9-liter V12 sat behind the cabin, fed by those signature eyelash headlights. Gandini's curves weren't just beautiful — they managed airflow well enough to keep a 170+ mph car planted. Mostly. Three variants in seven years: the original P400 proved the concept, the S polished it, and the SV perfected it. Total production: 764 cars. Every single one a collector's weapon now.
