The supercharged Jaguar AJ-V8 turned the L322 into a two-tonne cruise missile. 396 hp and 560 Nm through a ZF six-speed automatic. 0-100 in 7.0 seconds — absurd for something this large and heavy. The Eaton supercharger delivered its boost with a mechanical immediacy that turbos couldn't match, and the V8 soundtrack was magnificent. This was the L322 that proved Range Rovers could be fast, not just capable.
