The TDV6 was how most people actually experienced the L405 - 258 PS (254 hp in the US, where it was badged Td6 and sold from the 2016 model year) and 600 Nm of diesel torque, 900 km range, and running costs that didn't require a second mortgage. It lacked the drama of the supercharged V8 but delivered 90% of the experience at half the fuel cost. The sensible Range Rover. Which is still a Range Rover.
