About the C-Class W205
The W205 C-Class was Mercedes doing what Mercedes does best: making last year's S-Class technology available in this year's compact sedan. The interior jumped two classes in quality. AIRMATIC suspension was available for the first time. The base C200 felt like a proper luxury car. Then AMG crammed a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 into it and created the C63 S — 510 hp, rear-wheel drive, and a personality disorder that swung between luxury cruiser and tire-destroying lunatic depending on which drive mode you picked.
