About the GLC X254
Mercedes put the GLC on the MRA2 platform shared with the W206 C-Class and went four-cylinder-only for the combustion models. The M254 2.0 turbo made 258 hp in the GLC 300 with 48V mild-hybrid. The AMG GLC 43 got a version with an electric turbo at 421 hp. The AMG GLC 63 S E Performance combined the four-cylinder with a rear-axle electric motor for 671 combined horsepower. A compact crossover with 671 hp. The interior was the W206's cabin raised by a few inches, which meant the 11.9-inch portrait screen, MBUX, and excellent build quality all carried over. The ride was composed, the cabin quiet, and the driving experience was more refined than the X253. Mercedes kept the formula and improved every detail.
