About the GLC
The GLC is the car Mercedes-Benz never planned to need and now can't live without — their best-selling model globally. The GLC replaced the GLK in 2015, swapping the old model's boxy styling for the flowing lines of the C-Class on which it's based. The formula was straightforward: take everything buyers love about the C-Class — the interior quality, the refinement, the badge — and raise it off the ground. It worked. The GLC outsold the C-Class within two years. The AMG GLC 63 S stuffed a hand-built 4.0L twin-turbo V8 into a mid-size crossover and produced 503 hp. It was absurd, unnecessary, and exactly the kind of excess that AMG exists to deliver. The current generation switched the 63 to a hybrid four-cylinder, following the same controversial path as the C 63. The GLC Coupe variant added a sloping roofline for buyers who wanted less practicality in exchange for more style. On Revnut, the GLC ranks where luxury, volume, and the community's judgment intersect.
