About the Altima L33
The L33 Altima was Nissans attempt to inject some visual drama into the midsize sedan segment. Between 2013 and 2018, the restyled body with its V-motion grille and boomerang headlights stood out in a sea of silver rental fleet sedans. The 2.5-liter QR25DE was smooth and the CVT was less objectionable than most. The real story was the chassis — surprisingly capable in corners for a family sedan. Nissan Zero Gravity seats remained the most comfortable in the class. Good car, tough market.
