About the Juke F15

Nissan drew something weird and then actually built it. The F15 Juke arrived in 2010 looking like a rally-prepped frog, and it worked because Nissan committed to the strangeness. The 1.6-liter turbo made 188 hp in the Nismo version and pushed the Juke to 60 in under seven seconds. For a subcompact crossover, that was absurd. The platform was shared with the Micra but the suspension tuning was tighter than it had any right to be. Torque vectoring AWD in the top trim actually put power where it needed to go. The interior was small, the rear seats were a suggestion, and the cargo space was a joke. None of that mattered. The Juke carved a niche that didn't exist before it showed up, and every manufacturer spent the next decade copying the formula.
