The Juke is the car that proved weird sells — and that Nissan's design department had either lost their minds or found something everyone else missed. Launched in 2010, the original Juke looked like nothing else on the road. The bug-eyed headlights, the motorcycle-inspired center console, the rally-car proportions stuffed into a subcompact body — it polarized everyone who saw it. And then it sold 100,000 units in its first year because it turned out that people were tired of crossovers that all looked the same. The Nismo RS variant added 215 hp and all-wheel drive to the package, creating a genuinely quick hot crossover before "hot crossover" was a recognized category. It handled like a car that wanted to be a hot hatch but couldn't quite commit to being low enough.
