About the Juke F16
Nissan made the Juke less weird and lost some of what made it special. The F16 smoothed out the frog-face styling into something more conventionally handsome, grew the interior, and added a usable back seat. The 1.0-liter turbo three-cylinder made 114 hp, the 1.6 DIG-T hit 143 hp. No more Nismo. No more torque-vectoring AWD in most markets. The platform was shared with the Renault Captur, which meant better NVH and a more refined ride. The interior finally had a real touchscreen and materials that didn't feel disposable. The F16 was a better car than the F15 in almost every measurable way. It was also less memorable. Nissan traded character for competence, and the segment had enough competent crossovers already.
