The original Celica Supra in its most common form. The 4M-E inline-six was borrowed from the Crown and Mark II — Toyota raiding its own parts bin to give the Celica something it never had: six-cylinder refinement. 110 hp wasn't going to win any drag races, but the smoothness and the long-legged highway gait made it a genuine GT. This was Toyota learning the formula.
