About the Golf 2.0 GTI (211 Hp) FWD
The Mk6 GTI was the refined middle child. Same EA888 family as the Mk5, now making 211 hp with better turbo response and a more polished chassis. The DSG dual-clutch was faster than the manual, which bothered purists and impressed everyone else. The Mk6 didn't reinvent anything — it took the Mk5's formula and sanded down every rough edge. Some called it boring. Others called it the most complete hot hatch of its era. Both were right.
