About the Camaro 6th Gen
The 6th Gen Camaro was Chevrolet's best-handling muscle car. Full stop. The Alpha platform, borrowed from the Cadillac ATS, gave it a rigidity and balance that no Camaro before it could match. The SS had a 455 hp LT1 V8. The ZL1 had a 650 hp supercharged LT4. Even the turbo four was fun. The problem was visibility — the greenhouse was so tight you couldn't see out of it. Chevrolet built the fastest, sharpest Camaro ever made, and then discontinued it. The car deserved better than its sales numbers.
