Rochester mechanical fuel injection on a 327 cubic inch small block. 375 hp in 1963, which was absurd. The L84 was the hot-rod Sting Ray, the one that showed up at dragstrips and surprised the muscle car crowd. At 1,310 kg with the fuel-injected motor, the C2 had a power-to-weight ratio that most sports cars wouldn't match for another decade.
