About the Corvette 7.0 V8 L71 (435 Hp) RWD
The 427 big block L71 made 435 hp at 5,800 rpm and 610 Nm of torque. In 1967. In a car that weighed 1,430 kg. The math was terrifying then and it's still impressive now. Three two-barrel carburetors, solid lifter cam, 11:1 compression. The L71 Sting Ray was the most powerful C2 ever built and the car that made the Corvette a genuine American muscle legend.
