Direct injection, variable valve timing, cylinder deactivation, and 460 hp from 6.2 liters. The LT1 C7 Stingray was the Corvette that finally got a good interior, a proper manual, and the kind of refinement that made German sports cars nervous. Magnetic ride was standard on Z51. The C7 could road-trip all week and autocross all weekend.
