About Dodge
Dodge never learned subtlety. While the rest of the industry downsized, turbocharged, and hybridized, Dodge kept building cars with supercharged V8s, 700+ horsepower, and names that sounded like they were picked during a bar fight. Hellcat. Demon. Redeye. They meant every word. The brothers Dodge founded the company in 1900 and spent the next century building things that were bigger, louder, and more American than whatever came before. The Viper put a truck V10 in a two-seat roadster with no traction control and no airbags. The Challenger Hellcat made 717 hp from the factory and came with a warranty. The Demon 170 made 1,025 hp on E85 and ran a 1.66-second 0-60. From a sedan platform. Under Chrysler, Fiat, and now Stellantis, Dodge has survived corporate ownership changes that would have killed most brands. The muscle car formula hasn't changed because Dodge customers don't want it to change. More displacement. More boost. More noise. On Revnut, the community ranks the cars that never apologized for being excessive.
