The S650 is the Mustang that shouldn't exist in 2024. A 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 making 486 hp with a six-speed manual in an era of turbocharged fours and electric torque. Ford gave it an electronic drift brake, rev-matching, and MagneRide adaptive dampers — then left the rear-wheel-drive chassis analog enough to let you get into trouble. The S650 GT is Ford's statement that the naturally aspirated V8 sports car isn't dead yet. How long that remains true is anyone's guess.
