About the Civic Type R 2.0 K20Z4 (201 PS) FWD

The FN2 was the European Civic Type R of its generation: the futuristic three-door hatch, not the Japanese FD2 sedan. 201 PS from a 2.0-liter K20Z4 without forced induction, through a close-ratio six-speed to the front wheels. It was heavier than the EP3 and had no limited-slip differential, which purists never forgave, but it was more refined and better equipped. It was also one of the last naturally aspirated Civic Type Rs before turbocharging arrived with the FK2.
