About the Aventador LP700
The Aventador was built to be excessive and succeeded completely. A 6.5-liter V12 hung behind the cabin, 700 hp at launch, and a carbon-fiber tub borrowed from aerospace. The ISR gearbox shifted in 50 milliseconds and kicked you in the spine every time. The base LP700-4 was already absurd. The SV cranked it to 750. The SVJ set a Nürburgring record at 6:44.97 with active aerodynamics that adjusted the body panels mid-corner. And the Ultimae, the very last one, squeezed 780 hp from the same block and closed out sixty years of Lamborghini V12 production. Eleven years, one generation, zero compromises on volume.
