AMG took the W204 C63 formula and applied twin turbochargers. 510 PS (503 hp in the US) from a hand-built 4.0-liter V8 through the rear wheels. The W205 C63 S was faster than the naturally aspirated car and lost surprisingly little in character. 4.0 seconds to 100 km/h in a sedan you could drive to a client meeting. AMG's answer to the M3 was always more displacement. Now it was more boost, too.
