About the Impreza GD

The GD Impreza sharpened everything the GC started. Wider body, stiffer chassis, and the same EJ20 turbo flat-four now making more power with better control. The blobeye, hawkeye, and STI variants became the cars that defined a generation of rally fans. Subaru gave the GD proper Brembo brakes, a six-speed manual for the STI, and enough hood scoop to make the car's intentions clear from a parking lot away. Less raw than the GC. More capable. And the aftermarket treated it like a blank canvas.
