The naturally aspirated 7M-GE gave up 30 hp to the turbo variant but gained something in return: predictability. 200 hp through the rear wheels with no turbo lag made it a more approachable daily driver. The chassis was the same — double wishbones, TEMS option, oversized brakes — so the handling didn't suffer. For buyers who wanted the Supra experience without the boost, this was the sensible choice. Whether "sensible" belongs in a Supra conversation is another question.
