Toyota finally gave the A90 what the community had been demanding since 2019: a manual transmission. The iMT six-speed with automatic rev-matching arrived for 2023 and immediately became the version to buy. Same 382 hp B58, same chassis, but now with a clutch pedal and a shift lever that connects the driver to the powertrain in a way the ZF eight-speed never could. It's slightly slower on paper — 4.4 seconds to 100 km/h versus 4.1 — but the experience is incomparably richer. This is the A90 that finally feels like it earned the Supra name.
