About the Yaris XP90

The XP90 Yaris grew slightly between 2005 and 2011, gaining a bit more refinement without losing the light, tossable character of the original. The 1.5-liter option in North America gave it enough power to feel confident on highways, and the hatchback version remained a packaging masterclass. Toyota stripped out weight wherever possible — the XP90 was one of the lightest cars in its segment, which helped both fuel economy and driving enjoyment. Not glamorous, not trying to be. Just a genuinely good small car doing small-car things exceptionally well.
