Dodge brought back the Challenger in 2008 on the LX platform and kept it for fifteen years without a redesign. It just got more powerful. The SRT-8 had 425 hp. The Hellcat had 717. The Redeye had 797. And the Demon 170 made 1,025 hp on E85 and ran a 1.66-second 0-60 on drag radials. At over 2,000 kg, it was the heaviest car on this list, and also the fastest in a straight line. Dodge solved the weight problem with more power.
